Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues before operation and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, attendance, and workplace conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class I or Class III) is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
