Responsibilities
- Inventory Operations: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently and accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is rotated and organized in designated storage areas.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on products and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and keep the workspace clean and hazard-free.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting, sorting, and tracking inventory.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
