Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming stock while maintaining accurate records in our inventory management system.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation are completed.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Licensing: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to count, verify, and organize inventory with high precision.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
