Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and organizing stockrooms to ensure optimal flow.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment to customers and vendors.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and delivery logs, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one.
- Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and a team player committed to safety.
