Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from shelves or storage areas based on purchase orders and pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Inspect merchandise for defects or damage before packaging.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) as required.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and quotas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
