Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure stock levels are maintained according to company standards.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and log items into the inventory system.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on products before packing to minimize returns.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus and maintain high accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic English and communicate effectively with team members.
- Equipment: Willingness to obtain a forklift certification if applicable to the role.
