Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and performing cycle counts to ensure stock integrity.
- Shipment Preparation: Properly package items, label pallets, and prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) to move materials within the facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all orders meet quality standards before they leave the dock.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent eyesight and the ability to focus on tasks for extended periods in a busy environment.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer interfaces.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide paid training.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
