Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods: Safely handle merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure efficient loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by checking incoming shipments and updating inventory records in our management system.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled, secured, and ready for distribution.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the storage area organized and clean to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workplace for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
