Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual lifting techniques
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage documentation
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse zones following FIFO principles
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles and dock areas
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
