Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and hand trucks safely.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Package, label, and prepare goods for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock organization as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
