Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, checking quantities and identifying damaged goods.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by promptly disposing of waste and organizing inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report any hazardous conditions immediately.
- Efficiency: Work collaboratively with team leads to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, such as packing slips and delivery logs.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is highly preferred but not always required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling merchandise and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
