Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping activities
- Train and direct part-time staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns to management as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse or logistics supervision experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
