Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize storage systems and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Monitor inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies using WMS software
- Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Prepare daily performance reports and operational metrics for leadership review
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse supervision or team leadership experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
