Responsibilities
- Supervise 3-5 warehouse staff during shift operations, ensuring task completion and productivity standards
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, including receiving, palletizing, and shipping processes
- Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular equipment inspections
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Train staff on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Availability for flexible shifts (mornings/evenings/weekends)
