Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies using WMS systems
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize storage layouts and workflow processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Generate performance reports and implement corrective actions for operational improvements
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
