Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize inventory management systems to minimize errors and maximize space utilization
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership skills with staff development and conflict resolution
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
