Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise part-time staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Implement lean principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate with transportation team for seamless dock scheduling
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS systems
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain productivity targets
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic data analysis experience for performance metrics
- High school diploma or equivalent required
