Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates through performance coaching and skill development programs
- Implement process improvements to optimize space utilization, reduce costs, and increase productivity metrics
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and maintain a zero-incident workplace culture
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and WMS system optimization
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Generate performance reports and data-driven recommendations for operational enhancements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution environments
- Proven track record of leading teams of 15+ employees with demonstrated leadership success
- Expert knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control methodologies
- OSHA certification and comprehensive understanding of safety regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience resolving complex operational challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management preferred
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment
