Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Management: Schedule, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage returns or discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts and other material handling equipment are maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams effectively, resolve conflicts, and motivate employees.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
