Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Train and direct staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and inventory procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely order fulfillment and deliveries
- Maintain clean and organized work environment according to 5S principles
- Generate reports on productivity, inventory discrepancies, and safety metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficient in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory tracking software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in logistics preferred
