Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train part-time staff, assign tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator certification is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
