Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse workflows, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to standard operating procedures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, providing clear instructions and feedback to drive performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations and OSHA standards to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage stock rotation to minimize errors and prevent loss.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Problem Solving: Address operational bottlenecks and resolve issues immediately to maintain workflow continuity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, staff hours, and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
