Responsibilities
- Select and pick merchandise from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify accuracy of orders by checking item descriptions and quantities.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks when required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8-10 hours per day).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and preparing labels.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (if outdoor loading/unloading).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
