Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately locate, retrieve, and pack products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Scan items using handheld scanners or barcode readers to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Order Fulfillment: Assemble, pack, and label orders efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sorting and stacking pallets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, picking, or packing is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details and follow complex instructions accurately.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or basic warehouse software systems.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up on time and ready to work.
