Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise from shelves and storage areas according to customer orders and picking tickets with high accuracy.
- Verify product details, scan barcodes, and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize inventory and maintain a neat, orderly workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to update order status in real-time.
- Assist in loading outbound trucks and ensuring all pallets are secured properly.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; strong work ethic is the most important qualification.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software or scanning equipment quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail to minimize picking errors.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
