What You Will Do:
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. You will be responsible for selecting, verifying, and preparing merchandise for shipment. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to work.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select and pack customer orders according to pick tickets and packing slips.
- Inventory Management: Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packing and ensure all packaging materials are used correctly.
- Shipment Preparation: Label, weigh, and load boxes onto pallets or conveyor belts for shipping.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe by following all OSHA safety guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available to work a full-time schedule.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
