Responsibilities
- Pick products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets and verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Scanning barcodes and using handheld scanners to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Inspect goods for defects or damage before processing them for shipment.
- Operate handheld scanners, computers, and other warehouse equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours) on hard surfaces.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
