Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from the warehouse storage area according to pick tickets and packing lists.
- Verify accuracy of items and quantities before packing to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and RF scanners efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
