Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from storage areas using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
- Operate standard warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) when certified.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Good math skills for counting and weighing items.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
