Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Retrieve items from shelves using scanners and packing them securely according to customer specifications and safety standards.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies immediately to the inventory manager.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company quality control guidelines.
- Workstation Maintenance: Keep your designated packing station clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees to meet daily shipping quotas and targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent educational background.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment center is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk on various surfaces, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking items and scanning barcodes.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and the ability to learn handheld scanning equipment quickly.
