Responsibilities
- Execute Picking Operations: Accurately retrieve merchandise from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets using handheld scanners.
- Secure Packing: Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Inventory Verification: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors as required by the shift.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the picking and packing areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with team members to meet daily production quotas and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and verifying quantities.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance record is required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
