Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage racks using handheld scanners and pick-to-light systems.
- Verify product details against customer orders to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) for safe transport.
- Label packages with correct shipping information, including addresses and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred but not always required).
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for verifying quantities and labels.
- Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled environment (varies by season).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and reliability with a history of punctual attendance.
- Experience with barcode scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
