Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes.
- Manage and schedule a team of warehouse staff to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
- Enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a fully OSHA-compliant workplace.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies.
- Train new employees on equipment usage, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze daily performance reports to track KPIs and operational efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate necessary maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven experience leading, supervising, and mentoring a team of warehouse associates.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software is highly preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
