Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Select merchandise from shelves using scanners and pick lists, and securely pack items into boxes for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Process orders quickly and accurately to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in order processing.
