Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve products from shelves using scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Package items securely and prepare them for shipping using proper packing materials.
- Verify accuracy of orders by checking labels, barcodes, and product descriptions.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure product availability.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding handling hazardous materials if applicable.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn handheld scanning technology.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
