Job Summary
As a Picker Packer, you will be the backbone of our supply chain operations. You will ensure that our clients receive their orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select items from inventory shelves based on digital orders and package them securely for shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards before shipping.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by scanning items and updating inventory systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure order correctness and reduce returns.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic counting and reading of labels/barcodes.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including potential overtime during peak seasons.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
