Responsibilities
- Select and gather products from the warehouse shelves according to pick tickets and orders.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure they are free of damage.
- Package items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for reading labels and scanning barcodes.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (if applicable to loading docks).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
