Responsibilities
- Retrieve customer orders from the warehouse system and accurately pick items from shelves using handheld scanners or RF devices.
- Package items securely using appropriate wrapping materials to ensure safe transport.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing packing slips and scanning barcodes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping floors, organizing storage areas, and removing debris.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
