Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise using handheld RF scanners and pick tickets to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Sort, label, and stage orders for the shipping department efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Report damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or system errors immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and throughput targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn RF scanner technology quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required.
