Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently retrieve merchandise from shelves and prepare items for shipment using scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Verify product quantities, accuracy, and condition against purchase orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move heavy loads safely throughout the warehouse.
- Package Preparation: Properly wrap, label, and box items to prevent damage during transit.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished packages for safety seals and correct labeling before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and accessible for efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic counting and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
