Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithm performance on proprietary quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction mechanisms
- Create patentable quantum algorithm innovations and publish findings in leading journals
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms using frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles including superposition and entanglement
- Expertise in Python and at least one low-level quantum programming language
- Publication record in quantum computing or peer-reviewed research
