Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Lead research initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Create technical documentation and roadmap for quantum adoption across enterprise platforms
- Mentor junior scientists and drive quantum computing education initiatives
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and system designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or commercial quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in error correction techniques and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant architecture strategies
