Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Operate scanning equipment and handheld devices to manage inventory levels.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counts and packaging.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (if outdoor dock work is involved).
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious attitude.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
