Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
- Maintain OSHA compliance and strict safety protocols at all times
- Train new operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts for maximum space utilization
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial forklift operation experience (OSHA certification required)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperature conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills a significant advantage
