Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent workplace hazards
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Document operational activities and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience (valid OSHA certification required)
- Proven ability to operate various forklift types (sit-down, reach truck, order picker)
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
