Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to streamline inventory management and order fulfillment
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Train junior operators on equipment usage and safety best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Experience in inventory management systems (WMS preferred)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (outdoor yard operations)
