Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute inventory management with RF scanning systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Optimize stacking/loading techniques for maximum space utilization
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Support 24/3 shift operations including weekend coverage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and renewed annually
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in climate-controlled environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for equipment troubleshooting
- Excellent attention to detail in inventory tracking
