Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates with performance coaching
- Implement safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS technology for accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and maintain workflow productivity targets
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and inventory management
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
