Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move, load, and unload materials
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years' industrial forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math and communication skills
