Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Accurately manage inventory counts and documentation using WMS systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading procedures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train junior staff on safe material handling protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional forklift operation experience (valid OSHA certification required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record
